Lyre-Leaved Sage may be
easily confused with:
- Bugle
Bugle is darker in color.
- Ground Ivy
Ground ivy has leaves all along the plant, while the sage flowers grow on a spike above the leaves.
- Rough Hedge-Nettle
Lyre-leaved sage flowers have two distinct lobes on the lower lip.
- Wild Basil
Wild basil flowers grow from a disc-like head.
- Wood Sage
Note the two-lobed lower lip of lyre-leaved sage.
