Common cinquefoil is short and blooms earlier in the year. Common has 5 leaflets, while rough has three.
- Rough-Fruited Cinquefoil
Rough-fruited cinquefoil is paler in color, hairier. Rough-fruited has 5 leaflets, while Norwegian/Rough has 3.
