Foam Flower may be
easily confused with:
- Black Cohosh
Black coshosh is am much larger plant with a divided leaf. Foam flower is generally less than a foot tall, with a roundish, lobed leaf.
- Canada Mayflower
Leaf is lobed on foam flower, heart-shaped on Canada mayflower.
- False Solomons Seal
FSS has a smooth, egg-shaped leave, while foam flower has a more complex leaf shape.
