Common Milkweed may be
easily confused with:
- Poke Milkweed
Poke milkweed's clusters are much less dense than those of common milkweed, and the flowers have a distinctive "horned" form.
- Showy Milkweed
The "petals" (actually hoods) of showy milkweed are longer, making the flowers look larger and flashier than common milkweed.
- Swamp Milkweed
Swamp milkweed is a striking bright pink, while common milkweek is a much paler shade. Clusters of common milkweed nod pronouncedly.
We started out as wildflowers from the bicycle trails of western Pennsylvania, but we've
grown!
