Purple Dead Nettle may be
easily confused with:
- Ground Ivy
Purple dead nettle has purplish upper leaves and a "pouched" flower. Flower of ground ivy has a prominent, open lower lip.
- Heal-all
The flower cluster of heal-all is compact, while dead nettle has leaves among the flowers. The leaf of dead nettle is also wider.
We started out as wildflowers from the bicycle trails of western Pennsylvania, but we've
grown!
