Philadelphia Fleabane may be
easily confused with:
- Daisy Fleabane
The leaf of Philadelphia (common) fleabane clasps the stem, while daisy fleabane has a sessile, but not clasping, leaf. The rays on Philadelphia fleabane are thread-like, while those of daisy fleabane are very slightly wider.
- English Daisy
Fleabane is generally much taller than English daisy, which also has only basal leaves.
